Hi, I’m Florentina 🌿
I’m the creator behind Tiny Folk Patterns, and I’m so happy you’re here.

My love for sewing started early. My mom was a seamstress, and as a little girl, I was fascinated by her sewing machine. I used to sneak in while she was at work, plug in her industrial machine (even though I barely knew how to thread it!), and try making tiny clothes for my dolls. Of course, she always noticed, tangled thread was a clear giveaway,  but I just couldn’t help myself. I was hooked.

Later, life took me in a very different direction. I studied Cybernetics and Economic Informatics and built a career far from sewing machines and fabric scraps. But when I had my first baby, everything changed. I picked up a sewing machine again, and as I stitched those tiny clothes, that old joy of creating came rushing back.

I started learning everything I could about pattern design, from online courses to hands-on practice. And thanks to my background in tech, I found a way to bring it all together: combining my love for crafting with digital tools to create sewing patterns that are simple, modern, and easy to follow.

Now, as a mom of two, I’m more excited than ever to grow Tiny Folk Patterns and share it with others. Whether you’re brand new to sewing or have years of experience, I hope my patterns bring you joy, confidence, and the satisfaction of making something with your own hands.
